This is a game to improve vocabulary on verbs of movement. Most verbs represent an action. Action verbs in the English language such as verbs of movement, often relate to our everyday activities. As such, learning them early enables English learners to build their vocabulary, fluency and word recognition skills. ESL teachers can use this game to engage students in the classroom or assign it as homework practice outside of classroom hours. Dragon Bite Game - How to Play
This fun game is called ‘Dragon Bite’ and involves a dragon protecting his dinner from a scavenging raven. By answering the correct question, you prevent the bird from stealing our lovely dragon’s food. This game takes the form of a multiple-choice quiz. The learner must listen to the instructions and choose the correct answer within a timed period of 15 or 20 seconds. The more correct answer the learner gets, the more stars they earn in the end. Learners should aim for three stars.
